How to Cook Bread and Butter Pudding

Bread and Butter Pudding Recipe and Ingredients

One thick sliced loaf
3 Eggs
10oz Caster Sugar
2 pints double cream
1 pint milk
1 vanilla stick ( split & deseeded )
2 large tablespoons of Marmalade
8 oz raisins
6 oz sultanas
4 oz soften butter

Take the bread out of the Kleeneze bread keeper.
Butter on both sides with soften butter and place one layer of bread into the Kleeneze roaster tray.
Sprinkle with ½ of the sugar and dried fruit.
Repeat layering process until all the bread sugar and fruits are used.
To make the custard, place the eggs, milk and cream into a Kleeneze glass bowl and whisk.
Add vanilla seeds
Soak the bread and fruits in the custard mix for about 15 mins until all the custard is absorbed. Add any remaining custard.
Bake in a hot oven gas mark 6, 175 degrees for 45 mins.
Remove and brush with warmed marmalade.
Serve with custard or whipped cream.
